Professional Valuers Conference Highlights the Bright Future
Highlighting the opportunities available for Valuers, the 16th Professional Valuers Conference – 2021 was organized in Jaipur, Rajasthan at the Radisson Jaipur City Centre. Organized by the Indian Institute of Valuers (IIV), the three day conference was attended by over 200 Valuers, Architects, Engineers and CAs. The panel of speakers included notable names from the field of valuation, including M. B. KanagaSabapathy, Er. Girish Singhai, Mr. Sundarapandian, Er. Sanjay Mehta, Mr. Pawan Kothari, Ar. Pooja Dawalkar, CA Ankit Goel, CA Sumit Dhadda. Exploring the future of Valuation and the integration/ applications of latest advancements in Technology, Mr. Aryan Singh and Mr Shubham Shah, detailed the different applications where technology would play a significant role in the future of valuation.
With an enthusiastic Welcome and inaugural speech by Mr. Narendra Singh and Mr. Iliyas Amin Sheikh respectively, on 26th November, 2021, the first day of the conference covered everything from the regulation upgradations, all the way to the possibilities in the future of valuation in the coming years. Mr. Amin Sheikh, founder of IIV and currently the MD- CEO at IIV, highlighted the significance of Valuation and the need for more valuers today, focussing on the fact that with the current conditions, there are a substantial number of opportunities to explore as Valuers all over the country. Over the course of its 2nd and 3rd day, the conference detailed the codes of conducts for valuers, various case studies, as well as new technology that is being launched to aid in the work of the Valuers. Mr. Aryan Singh, Chief Technology Officer at TensaX Innovation Lab, showcased several avenues where the latest advancements in technology can play a role in Valuation.

Mr. Amin Sheikh introduced future IIV plans to organize courses in order to spread the valuation profession globally under Valuexpert Association of International Appraisers, as part of the goal to enhance the knowledge of existing Valuers and to educate new team members, the IIV also organizes short and long term courses.
